The Silva Ultramind System Helped Me Find My Lost Relative

If you’re anywhere on social media and you’ve explored self-help or self-improvement then you’ve likely come across a Mindvalley ad. I started to become curious about Mindvalley in 2019. Though there is a hefty membership fee once I became a member I never looked back. There is so much information available through their courses, meditations, live sessions, etc. that I could never go through it all. What I love though is how the content is so well curated and you get experts in all fields giving you the the best advice on so many topics. From meditation, to finances, to social media strategy, Mindvalley does cover it all.

One of the very first Quests that I completed when I became a member was the Silva Ultramind System. It was an amazing experience and I am grateful for it because it came in handy during a family emergency. In February 2022 my godfather, who suffers from Alzheimer’s went missing. For anyone with a family member suffering with dementia this is a very scary situation. When the extended family was alerted he had already been missing for close to 24 hours in NYC during a winter storm. We were all so scared and mobilized to spread the word, post flyers, and contact news stations. We didn’t have too much help because since the days were short, and cold not too many people were outside to see him in distress. That’s what made finding him even more pressing. We were especially frantic because my godfather had lost his ability to speak, which would make it harder for him to communicate and find help. After driving around looking for him I went home that night and meditated for some guidance.

The next morning I woke up early and I went through the Projection to Human Anatomy exercise from the Silva Method. I had faith that it would help us though I didn’t know how. During the exercise I was able to feel my godfather and know he was alive, I felt that he was okay. I saw him in a room alone, I felt that he had pain in his left wrist and somewhere on his left hip. These were signals that I was receiving through my own body so at the time I was not sure what to think. I even remember thinking that maybe I was doing it wrong and not entering the right state. But then I rationalized and told myself that these were not hurting prior to entering meditation and that I had done nothing to hurt myself lately so I wrote them down just because it was so strange. I left my morning meditation feeling so confident that my godfather was alive and that we would find him. Later that morning we got the call that he had been found at a hospital two counties north of where he disappeared. I was so relieved and grateful.

That same night I went to visit him at home after he was released from the hospital. Even though he doesn’t remember me or my mom, we were so happy to see him and to know that he was well. The first thing I noticed was that he was bandaged up. My mom and I sat down with his wife and sister in law to get more of the story. He was distressed because he took the train and then bus to the wrong location, which left him in Yonkers, NY. He had apparently been walking all day in a snowstorm and got on the wrong bus after he took the MTA 1 train to the wrong stop. The bus driver noticed his condition and called the police when they got to the last stop. The police took him to a local hospital since he looked hurt. During his time walking where he was trying to find his way, he slipped and fell. He hurt his hip and his hand, which was the bandage I saw. I was so shocked when I heard the story that my jaw hit the floor. I explained to his sister-in-law that I had meditated early that morning and I had visualized him in a room and that I knew he was alive. I had “felt” or “sensed” the pain in his left wrist and left hip/leg area. She smiled and said, “he’s been complaining about the pain in his side since we picked him up at the hospital.” I knew then that my meditation had worked and that I had indeed connected with my godfather that same morning while he was still in his hospital room and we had no idea where to find him.

This was one of many amazing experiences that I had while using the Silva Method. It is definitely the most memorable for me because of how special my godfather was to me as a child and the impact he had in my life. I was grateful to have connected with him during a time where he was alone and vulnerable.
